January 22, 2007 In a written response to an earlier lawsuit by IBM®, Platform Solutions, Inc. (PSI) announced today that it has filed its own claims against IBM in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York alleging antitrust violations, unfair competition, and business torts. In its response, PSI also strongly denied IBM’s claims.
September 21st, 2007 - Platform Solutions, Inc. files response to IBM's amended complaint. The response categorically rejects IBM's claims of trade secret misappropriation, denies infringement of IBM patents, reaffirms PSI's belief that IBM's practices are grossly anticompetitive and in violation of the anti-trust laws, and that IBM's behavior is both hypocritical and in direct conflict with positions it has taken concerning patent licensing and disclosure of interoperability information in other competitive markets.
